October 17, 2007BLEEDING THROUGH frontman Brandan Schieppati and BAD RELIGION/ex-SUICIDAL TENDENCIES drummer Brooks Wackerman have formed a new metal/thrash/rock band called THE INNOCENT. The band also features Ryan Sinn (THE DISTILLERS) and Dave Nassie (NO USE FOR A NAME). "United by their shared love of the power of heavy metal, THE INNOCENT and are preparing to lay waste to any preconceived notions about the unlikely combination of heroes from the divergent Ozzfest, Warped Tour and rock n' roll worlds," according to the group's official bio. "Boasting an arsenal of a handful of songs crafted together in the evening hours in Orange County when their other projects have allowed a break from touring or recording here and there, THE INNOCENT is ready to show its collective face and make its presence known as a force unto itself beyond its collective members' resumes."
You can listen to three demo tracks from the band at this location.
